mild customization is cool, but that truck has been mod-ed beyond what is tasteful in my opinion... a restored original tach dash is as cool as it gets for me...

There's quite a few nice trucks on eBay right now. But I think longhornmail would especially get a kick out of this one:

That longhorn is pretty nice. I'd have to do away with that steering wheel though. You could also find better looking wheels. For 30k they could at least have found a straight undented tailgate!

Speaking of newer dashes, I was looking at a magazine I think it was sport truck or trucking. I saw one of our trucks with a new dash like whats in my 97 it looked cool but I cant find it again if anyone has that issue or a picture with a 67-72 with a newer dash please send it this way.

A year or two ago one of the truck mags did an article on a truck that had this model dash in it. That truck was also a minty looking green as this one appears to be. Same one??

I always liked the 73-87 dashes. The guages wrap around you a little more, and are a bit easier to see. They mush have had to narrow that one. Aren't the 73-87 trucks about 4-6" wider than the 67-72's?

That longhorn is cool, but not really done to my taste. Lots of detail and all though. I find it amusing when they state that only X% of the trucks had buckets....when his buckets were out of a later truck! LOl...
thanks for the link though. ^5

The info on the auction says he had to cut it to fit. Whoever did it, did a very "clean" job, and the guy even added the DAKOTA DIGITAL gauges..

This guy has done the under hood as I want to, Just the right amount of chrome in the right area. A lot of work and money, Well spent in my opinion.
I would like to talk to him about his seats (what are they out of ?) and super trap exhaust.
Here's the description from the auction.
