replacement parts

Hey guys hope you are all havin a better spring than us in the northeast!!! Well tis the season for replacing rusted body panels, as I am sure you have all used different suppliers (LMC, Brothers, Classic Industries, ect) I need your opinions on if there are any dealers better than others!!! Specifically my current needs are the usuals rocker panel(complete), cab corners, drivers floor pan, cab support, an LR lower(behind the wheel) patch panel, not too overly bad but I wanna do this ONCE, not once every ten years!!!!! Thanks guys, an happy cruisin'!!!!!!

Re: replacement parts

I would use LMC. I didn't care for classic industries. They sent out the wrong stuff.

Re: replacement parts

As far as sheetmetal goes, I would ask around and if you can find someone who sells Goodmark brand I wwould go with them. Also look around locally, I know in the Houston area here there are lots of places that sell body parts to the public.

Re: replacement parts

from what I have seen most of the replacement sheet metal is about the same. I have use JCW for parts like rockers ,cab corners no complaints for things like doors and fenders I tried to find good used parts.

Re: replacement parts

basically all the parts come from china and im sure its pretty much all the same factory.they are all a standard guage . I have found tho that the two fellows we have here as site vendors sell quality parts and they have prices that beat the competition.
CaptKaos has a site as does Tri-proautomotive. Ive bought from both with excellent results..
I actually live close to tri pro so i call him and tell him what i need in body panels and go pick them up..Chris has to ship them but i will also say that Chris was able to get me things in a matter of days, which is more than acceptable time table..I would recommend either highly
