67 - 72 AM/FM radio

Was there any difference in the 67 through 72 truck radios, or was it the same radio? I know the difference between van and truck, but don't know about differences through the years. How much are they selling for?

I know the 67 radios have a smaller knobs for tuning and volume. And am/fm came out in 71. I havn't seen a differance in the am radios 68-72. As for price...... I've bought them as low as $2 and seen an am/fm for $1000.00 (don't know if it sold) I paid $75 for an am/fm that I found at a swapmeet, (And it worked) doupt I'll ever find a deal that that again.

There is no difference in the radios themselves, only the knobs. Some AM radios will have the standard (all black) knobs, but I doubt if any AM/FM radios had them since they were an option. Price depends on condition. I've seen AM radios go for $10-$80, and AM/FM go for $200-$800.

U69 is the rpo code for the AM/FM
U63 is the code for the AM radio.

I frealized that two of the pushbuttons are a little melted on the ends from who knows what?? Can anyone tell me if the pushbuttons from an AM can be swapped in their place and if this is difficult to do?

Considering that the radio is right above the ashtray, I'd say they are cigarette burns. I've never actually laid hands on an AM/FM so I'll leave the button swap question to someone else.
