Can someone please tell me how to remove a 60-63 dashboard!? I removed all the bolts I can find and it still wont budge. Do I have to remove the windshield? Pry off the A pillar covers? What!? Help!

I just removed the dash from my 63 I am scraping out and there was 3 bolts on each side, the with the windshied removed, drill out all spot welds, then the pillers need to be removed, because there is a bracket that is spot welded behind the piller. I will try to get pictures for you.

If your thinking about sticking in a different dash just cut it out along the windshield leaving about a 1". Then when you put in your new dash just weld it on top of the lip. If you going to stick the same year or model back in then just drill out all the spot welds.

Before you cut the welds, stop and think. The dash is a pain to get back in correctly. If it has major damage, rust or you're customizing, go ahead. If you need to make minor repairs, like fixing a hacked radio hole, repair it in place. Cut & weld, hammer and dolly, or whatever needs done.
