Bed Floor Repair?

Does anyone sell or can I get ahold of patch panels for a 1970 Blazer somwhere? I have discovered spots in the bed floor of my 1970 that are about 3" to 6" in diameter that I want to cut out and weld in fresh metal.

Thoughts? Gracias-

There are 16"x48" reproduction patch panels available for our trucks, but I've heard others on the board comment that the corrugations don't match 100%. A '67-'72 pickup with a steel floor or '69-'72 Blazer that could donate patches would be best if you can find it.

Guess I need to call Tri-Plus on Monday, I don't see the half bed floors on their website.

Re: Bed Floor Repair?

Did you ever find the repair panels? I'm in the same boat...

Had a guy tell me to find a junker van and cut out a section of floor for repair panels, but that sounds fishy to me. I could solve a whole bunch of problems in a hurry if I had the entire panel...
