81 El Camino seats in a 77

hey does any one know if the split bench from a 81 elcomino will fit in our trucks and look normal you know not too small in lenth wise

it will probably be way to small the 81 elcamino was a glorified malibu and that is narrower than a truck

If you get one from the bigger Camino...like 73 to 77. Those will work fine.

hey thanks guys thats what i thought i just want a bench that folds forward and my friend but racing seats in his elco and offered me the old seat

The split bench with an arm rest from a '73-'77 Elky would be really nice. They are plush compared to the truck bench. How much work is required to make one fit?

if i remember right....and this come from years back...in the 80's. I had a 73 with a seat that was almost springs....i took one out of a 75 Camino and i used the seat tracks off the original seat.

Nice. I'll have to look into that for dad's project. It shouldn't be too hard to find a monte or malibu (same as elky) seat from someone's demo car.
