radiator support

I am replacing three row radiator with a four row radiator and was wondering about the bottom of the radiator support.

The new brackets for the four row radiator are wider so should the radiator support be cut or bent to allow the new bottom brackets to fit?

I think I can bend the lip down and it should work.

Re: radiator support

I placed the wider support bracket in position and marked side each side it about 1/16" wider than the bracket so as to make a cut with a hacksaw, then bend that middle part down to make a trough for the bracket to fit thru. I hope that makes sense.
