Some fresh pictures of the '71… I'm gettin' there

-
I still have a few things to finish up but I'm close. The front fender spears should be here by the middle of the week and I'm working on the seat and headliner now. I have the front bumper but I don't have a rear one yet. I don't know whether to use a sport bumper or a chrome step bumper on the rear… Any thoughts on that? Maybe this will keep you picture hounds happy for a couple of days…

Oh, I also have the 15x8 ralleys painted (thanks Bob!) but I don't have the 33's for them yet. I forgot to take pics of them. Maybe tomorrow. The guy I sold the '72 GMC to said he would take one of the tires off of it and put it on my wheel to make sure the 33's will clear everything OK.

Or,the wheels are turned.Way to keep leon on his toes. We`ll learn him what`s what yet.

I`ll vote with everyone else on the sport bumper for just that reason...Most would want that (Assuming you`ll be selling it).For me,a step bumper looks right on a 4wd and definately makes way more sense if you actually use the truck. It`s nice to have a way to get into the bed.

Thanks guys,

oldblue1968chevy: <u aware your steering wheels upside down lol>

If that's the only thing I have upside down I will feel really lucky..

Tim: <For me,a step bumper looks right on a 4wd and definately makes way more sense if you actually use the truck. It`s nice to have a way to get into the bed.>

That was my feeling also. If I put a sport bumper on it then I suppose it should have carpet instead of the rubber floor mat...

I vote for the step bumper as well. I think they look good, especially on 4 wheel drive. It's lookin' real nice; keep us posted.

Looking very nice. 4x4's look good with sport bumpers, but I prefer step bumpers. Looks more like a working truck that way, not just a pretty face =)

I finally took a picture of one of the Ralley wheels. I need to get some rings, caps and tires for them.

Bob

I sand blasted them. I can't quite get a wheel in my cabinet so I did them outside on one of the warm days we had.
