power lock conversion

I just bought a Viper alarm today and it has the option for operating power locks. I would be interested to know about installing power locks in my 1972 GMC . Any thoughts, ideas about possible swaps from later years?

Re: power lock conversion

When I did mine I used some out of a 80's car. Mounted the sol below the latch and ran a rod to where the lock knob hooked to latch assy. and did away with the pull knob in the corner. With all the after market stuff out there get a 2 door kit and hook on to the lock knob lever. The wiring is the fun part, rubber booting the door jamb.
