super choke question?

Hello
Has anyone had experience with the "super Choke" aftermarket electric choke ? The Q-jet we put on our 72 Cheyenne had one but no info on the wiring. There is a red wire and a white wire coming out of the temp sensor that bolts to the intake. Does anyone know where they are hooked up? Thanks!

Re: super choke question?

Here is a pic .There is an electric coil that replaces the original choke and a temp sensor that bolts to the intake manifold. Out of the sensor there is a red wire and a white wire. I know one of them must be energized with the key,but I'm not sure about the other one. There is a "super choke" brand on the choke. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: super choke question?

the white/or black in some cases, wire should be your ground wire(you can attach it to your carb bolt/stud) and the red wire is your keyed ignition power wire.
this is the same way that i wired up the electric choke on my edelbrock carb and it works just fine. hope that i was of any help, and i hope you get your choke situation resolved
