88-94 engine in an 89 square

I just traed some labor for a 350 tbi engine from an 88-94 chevy truck (don't know the exact year, but it's in that range). My 88 crew cab (square body) had a tbi engine in it before, and all the wiring and computer is in place. What has to be done to make the newer bodystyle engine work with the older wiring? Could it be as simple as plug and play, or am I looking at changing all the sensors and stuff? If it's too much trouble/expense, I'll just carb it.

Immediate plans- get it running!
Future plans-
Rear disc swap & Hydroboost
Dually conversion with shackle flip-n-switch
4x4 conversion with 52" springs
Maybe some new body panels
Who needs a car when they make crew cab trucks?

As far as I know it's exactly the same.

I think the injector harness is different for the 93+ but using your current TBI unit solves that.
