tranny problem??

Just started recently, it seems like when I'm in reverse and what sounds like 1st gear, it's doing a little bit of clunking, as it might have trouble catching itself, but after I get out of first gear, it sounds beautiful as usual..any suggestions of where to look/what to look for?
It also sounds a bit like I was dragging something but I ran it for about 10minutes around the parking lot and everything looked normal..help?
