rear coil springs

anybody heard of a air bag that goes inside the springs if so can tell me where to find them a friend of mine wants some for his truck

I have seen them at summit, i think they are used to keep the rear at normal height if there is load in the back or a trailer hooked up.

I have a set on the back of my suburban. Air lift is the brand, walked into jegs and they had them in stock, although, I had to buy more pieces since they don't actually have them for these trucks.

I got the 60733 kit, it is a generic in coil spring kit.

Then, I had to buy additional spacers, I want to say they were 30 bucks, but I can't confirm this. I do know the spacers I got were p/n 09567, ordered directly from air lift (517-322-2144) The lady who answered the phone (an actual person!!!) was very helpfull, took my order right there on the spot, and had my parts to me in 2 days.
The only mods I had to do, was to trim the bolt on the lower spring mount, and then drill a hole (for the air line) in the upper spacer, which was the one I bought direct from air lift.
While the cost was the same as new springs, this does add the advantage of adjustability, but without the added price and work of going full air bag suspention.
Very easy mod, and I am VERY glad I did it.
The company gets an A+ in my opinion, for what it's worth to you or your friend.

I've been running the Air-Lift bags for a few years and I really like them. I run 70-72 Monte Carlo rear springs with them.They're softer and give a nicer ride and all you need to do is air them up more if you want to haul a load.My .02
