Had my truck custom painted last night
Not exactly what I was wanting. They got a dozen of so cars and trucks, a couple houses, a fence and the car wash down the road.

Re: Had my truck custom painted last night
I had to check your location ratrod. I saw that tagging & automatically assumed that you were in Winnipeg. Sorry to hear about the graffiti & I hope you get it cleaned off easy.

Re: Had my truck custom painted last night
I'll let you in on a little secret that I learned. Take a can of spray paint of the same color and spray it on a paper towel. Rub this on the affected area(s) until the spray paint is almost gone. Follow this up by pouring paint thinner on another paper towel and lightly wiping the area again. That's right. Spray paint removes spray paint. Learned that one at the Houston Auto Show. Tried it myself (not on my truck though) and it works like a charm. Just make sure to wash off the paint thinner after you remove the graffiti.

Re: Had my truck custom painted last night
Sorry about that...hopefully your flat paint will make that an easier fix?
Just make sure before you call your insurance, to decide if it's worth it. I had some things taken out of an unlocked car once....called to check and see if it was covered and it wasn't because of it being unlocked. However, Allstate decided to write it up as a claim even though I did not ask for one and it was not allowed and it went in under my homeowner's policy for theft. When we sold that house and moved, we couldn't get homeowners through allstate any more because of that one non-claim. They found the kids and found them guilty but I never saw a penny even though they had taken about $1000 worth of tools and CD's

Get it off with in 24 hours and it ain't too difficult. You've got pics, so no need to keep it painted for a police report.

Re: Had my truck custom painted last night
Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I really appreciate it. I spent a couple hours with my neighbor across the street and we got most of it off. It's kinda "burnt" into the paint a little, I guess from the chemicals in the spray paint but looks way better. Had the police look at it and the insurance people too. The police told me to get it of as quick as possible so the rival gang wont add to it. I was told the VCK means "varrio central killers" and the EBK means "everybody kills". Looks like the EBK is looking for a fight with the south central hoods. The "x" by the "C" means they will kill a "central" gang member on site. According to the police the house that got "tagged" 4 doors away was the real target. guess I need to keep the wife and kids close. We might have trouble on the way. This gang stuff is retarded.

Just to lighten the mood, those kids did a terrific job painting your whitewalls!
Seriously, to bad you were the innocent bystander. Oh, cool truck by the way.
