My 67 project has made a lot of progress of the past year and a half. I have wiring, brakes, door windows, drive shaft... and some interior left. I've been working a lot more so it seems nothing has been getting done on my truck.

To make matters worse I bought a one piece window kit and have been trying to install it. After having issues with the door hinges, I just replaced all four. I installed the windows but was having some issues. Things only got worse when I was trying to get the passenger side to roll down when the crank gear broke on the regulator. THEN.... I was trying to help it by pushing down on the window, DON'T BE A DUMBA$$ like I was..... crash!!!!!!! Glass shattered!!!

I guess this is all part of learning and building one.

My hats off to you NWD02. You are doing what I haven't had the time to do plus I am mechanically challenged. Always focus on what you have accomplished and not what you have to do. It will fall into place. Also don't be afraid to take a break once in a while. Good Luck.

Sounds like you need to step away for a little bit and take a break. I know when you start getting close you don't want to but sometimes it's for the best. Good luck on the rest of the build.

I would guage it this way...when it goes from fun to work...its time for a break.

Plus, if it makes you feel any better, I promise that everyone on this board has felt that way at least once during there life. Heck, I'm in the same boat at the moment, but I'm a few steps behind you fighting rust/bodywork.

Take your time, do it right the first time so you can enjoy it when its done and not have to worry about fixing what you didnt do right

I'm getting more than a little frustrated with my windwings right now - it just seems like it's taking way too long, and I tried to reuse an old seal in one (it looked pretty good) only to find out that when it was all together there was a huge air gap - now I have to take it apart again and do it right like I should have done the first time. So right now, I'm feelin' about the same way.

Patience Young Grasshopper, Seems like forever don't it? I feel like the more I do to my projects, the more there is to do!!! It always gets done though, if you do it. And as stated, breaks are good, you should enjoy this,,,just don't forget about it!!
