How much lower?

So I finally got my crew cab back and I think it still needs to come down a little bit. Currently it's lowered 4" in the rear and the overload and one leaf has been taken out and the front is just a 3" spindle. I think taking 2" out of the front will be just about right, I dont want to go too low because this truck will see a lot of miles. The tires on the truck now are about 30" tall so they are about 1" taller than the O.D of the new tire's I'll be getting next month. What do you think?

Re: How much lower?

I think it could come down 1-2" in the front. It's kinda hard to tell on the dirt. Do we know what wheels you are putting on it?

Re: How much lower?

Looks good....I'd wait on lowering it any more though until you get the tires you want to use.

Re: How much lower?

I think the small wheel size of what is currently on it is playing an optical illusion on you. I do think it could come down some more, but I agree when you get the wheels and tires you are wanting on there it may look low enough for you.

Patience grasshopper. Wait for the tires/wheels then determine how much more you can go.

It should be. I spoke to the paint guy last night and I'm dropping it off on Apr 25 and he said he only needs it for 10 days, but I assume thats body shop days so it should be more like 1-2 months I will probably be out of funds by then unless this snow storm comes through this weekend and I can get the plow's out one more time for some extra $$$. Anybody want to do the snow dance for me? ha
