Beefing up rear end

i am fixing to build my 496 650+hp bbc and i wanted to know what all is available and needed to handle this rear end wise that is. i know weld the tubes, can i get 5 lug 33 splines for a 1968 rear end (i have ece conversions already), what kind of lockers are made for these?, and i know a main cap support rear cover. o and this truck is mainly going to be a mean cruiser, that will be taken to the track ever so often. it is a factory 3.73 posi rear end. i will going to 4.10s. the trans is a th400 with 3500 stall and a reverse manual valvebody

I know Auburn Gear posi is a favorite at the track.Not a locker but gets it done...while still very streetable.Are the ECE axles cro-moly or stronger than stock?Definately use c-clip eliminators.Have you checked out www.markwilliams.com ?
If you had a Dana44 I have a new 4.11 set.

i know to replace all the bearing and seal but what about stronger main caps or will mine stock ones and the girdle be enough and how exactly do the eliminators work? do they press on? and anybody have a link for the auburn posi?

For the money you will spend on the 12 bolt, you could build a 9 inch and gain the ability to easily swap ratios between the street and track. A good core to find would be something out of a big 70's car, ford or lincoln, since they're already 5x5. You might even get a case with 31 spline axles.

Check out diferential companies like Reider Racing ,Randy`s Ring & Pinion,Drivetrain Direct,and such.
