anyone know where the holes need to be drilled for the CST emblems for a 71 blazer need a measurement from the rear door edge to either the edge of the emblem or the first hole location. NEED ASAP PLEASE!

No one has a CST truck and a tape measure?
C'mon guys I really need help on this Paint guys are waiting on this info to drill the holes before they start painting.

Hey, I am stripping a 72 CST Blazer for paint, I am wondering how to remove the cst door emblems, is there an easy way? Thanks,,,

Hey teamradrz1,

Drew here. I will stop by Dave's after work and measure a couple of doors. I spoke to Brad and he confirmed as did I that the assembly manual gives some references, but maybe not all. I looked last night at the assembly manual again, and to me it appears that what they list in the picture as reference point #35 is the door center line. They do not list the measurement of it, but from that line they do list the distance for each hole and the hole sizes. Once I get a few measurements from a door today, I will compare them to the assembly manual and update everyone.

Thanks I have the assembly guide too and wish it were more clear on this stuff I wasn't sure if that was a center line of the door or not.

They just pop out with a little force as they do not have back screw downs like most emblems they just have a barbed hole liner that holds the emblems in place.

The emblems should have "barrel clips". If you are careful they should pry off.
Now, from the back of the door, 15 7/16" and 19 1/2" to the centers. I just measured a door i have here that looks correct yet. The door is off a 68 pickup, but i think the emblem location is the same as a blazer. Eric
