under the hood help
Since I removed about every thing in the engine bay, the a/c box since it was missing about every thing to make it work, hid the wiring since the wiring was a mess most of the wires were fried and I was afraid that my truck would catch on fire so I rewired with a new harness, and put the battery in the bed now I need help of making it look better,

Re: under the hood help
For the firewall I'm going to use a piece of sheet metal that my dad cut out for me, but it will need a lot trimming and fitting, and also I'm going to wrap the headers and use a small brake booster, also I need to put something under the hood because when the hood is open it make the truck look bad

Re: under the hood help
You could look at covering, or filling the holes in the fenders. That would clean it up. And, maybe loose the Summit sticker. That is my $0.02.

Re: under the hood help
Oh, cool. Your truck might look sweet with an old Caddy/Olds air cleaner. Painted to match the truck.

Re: under the hood help
My $.02:
I'd either paint the wells to match the inner fenders or the other way around to clean up the look. If the inner fenders were black, the cutouts wouldn't stand out as much. Get an insulator for the hood. They clean up nicely.

Re: under the hood help
Things that would make a big difference-
1. Remove the hood and paint the bottom side of it white. Be careful to protect the top from scratches and overspray. 2.Paint the firewall white. 3. Make one piece cover panels to fit the inner fenders and paint them white as well. 4. Paint fender liners white. 5 repaint the booster/master cylinder satin black. Add a chrome lid. 6 Loose the T-handle hold downs.

Re: under the hood help
All the wiring is hidden, including the headlight harness being routed inside the fenders and along the bottom of the core support. Firewall shaved, insides of fenders and hood undercoated, fuse box cover (yet to be finished), ignition components inside the cab, low mount brackets from Alan Grove, and matched components wherever I could.
I suggest you ditch the cheesy braided hose wrap and colored fittings and run new black hoses with SS clamps, match the VC's and air cleaner, de-sticker everything, undercoat the inside of the fenders and hood, new insulaton, clean up the engine (at least the intake), black plug wires, etc. Take a step back, if anything really grabs your eye...lose it or detail it.

Re: under the hood help
I thought a little more, Paint the fenders below the gutter black, welds up the holes on the inner fenders , add the sheet metal on the firewall, weld up the holes on the core support, and paint black, a replacement hood liner, make a peace of sheet metal covering the top of the radiator, and go from there

Re: under the hood help
I painted a part of the fender since, I didn't want to tape the entire front half of the truck
