power steering pump
Can anyone tell me what this hole is for. My ps fluid is leaking out from here.Its the top left hole in the pic.

There is supposed to be a bolt in there with threads on both ends that may or may not be used for belt adjustment. Wheather it is used or not you need one in there. There is a seal between the resevoir and the pump body. Bolt should be 3/8 X 16 uss thread about 1/2" long. If you use just a bolt make sure it does not excede 1/2" or you will bust the pump!! jim
