6 cylinder AT shift linkage

Fits all 67 - 72 6 cylinder trucks with either a T350 or T400 trans, (yes they are different than the V8). Media blasted and painted.

This linkage looks a lot like the linkage for my 1969 CST, 250 six with the Powerglide. Is this the same or will it work on the Powerglide? On mine the hole is egg shaped and the stud is worn down so it makes the shift lever hard to pull it out of park and stiff to get it back into park. What condition are your parts in?

The frame bracket is the same but the rest will not work on a powerglide.. sorry..
From what you are describing it sounds like your shift tube inside the column just needs some lube, (the worn pin and egged shape holes will not make it hard to shift, just sloppy)
You might try spraying some Lube (WD40 PB blaster etc) down into the shift collar next to the chrome shift handle and start working the handle towards you and back forth. (this is a very common place that "dries out").

Thanks for the info on the lube. My shift lever is a little sloppy but it shifts from reverse through low sliky smooth, it's just a little stiff to get it into and out of park. Have you ever tried to repair these parts? I was thinking I could maybe weld the one piece and then redrill the part that is egged shaped.

Yes if you have the means go ahead and weld it up and redrill, I do it quite often.. I have even welded up the "pin" on the frame bracket and filed it down to get rid of the "groove"

Haven't gone out to the garage to lube the steeriing column, I have been glued to the sofa all afternoon.
