Cab supports

Hi all.
Hope someone can help me out I'm looking for pictures and a lot of help on how to install cab supports front and rear?
I have purchased the slip on type cab supports but not sure if that is the best to use?
Will I have to remove the Cab and flip the cab to install the cab supports to weld them in place?
Is this the best place to start? As I have to do all the major rust repair.
I have a lot of rust please help
Thanks a lot.
