Wing glass post broken
My passengers side wing glass is flopping. The center post at the bottom broke. Anybody ever fixed one or do I have to replace the entire unit?

Re: Wing glass post broken
Since the solid post is butt welded into a sheet metal frame I would replace the frame.

Re: Wing glass post broken
If yours is a chrome wing I could possibly help you with a replacement piece as I have a spare, but if it's just plain I'd go to a jy and get another one.

You can weld them back on if you have a welder. Not hard. or replace but we just weld them back on. We do that stuff for free if customer brings in

Weld it right there in the door huh? Can you tell me what rod it would take? I have a lincoln arc welder if that will work.
