66 pickup in-cab gas tank photos?
Does anyone have any photos of their in cab mid 60's gas tank mount. I don't have the manual and I want to see its installation.....anything peculiar?
My other thought was to walk the junkyard until I find one for reference...... thanks in advance if you have a photo or input. steve |

I've got my tank out while I'm working on the floor. What part do you need to see....the mounts on the floor, or the straps that go around the tank?

I'm looking for a photo of what it looks like installed actually. Especially the cardboard I see listed in my catalog. I presume that goes in front of the tank so it doesn't rub the seat.........or do you even need the cardboard?

No pics. The cardboard hides the tank from view. Makes it easier to clean the cab. And does a small amount of sound damping.

Hmmm. Now I'm thinking I'm not sure what to do.
Maybe a trip to Home Depot to see if I can fabricate something cheaper than the $30 catalog request plus shipping. |
