Lightbulb Replacing freeze plug

Has any one replaced the freeze plug under the motor mount on a 350 while the motor is still in the truck? My friend (thanks Ryan) and I just did this last night and I'm here to tell you that it is possible, but not easy. I think pulling the motor, replacing the plug and putting the motor back in (after a good clean up) would be easier and take less time. I should have taken pics for yall, but it was already taking to much time.
