2500 rims

Will these fit my 1970 C-20, 8 lug? All I'm told is they came off a 2500 Chevy and I was wondering if there will be any backspacing problems. My 16.5" tires need replacing and it's hard to find a good price for an odd size.

Thanks guys.

Re: 2500 rims

I have a set on my 69 and they work great-no problems. I do not know the backspacing so this tread may help me too! I did have a time finding the correct lug nuts-my truck has 1/2 size studs, some have 9/16-the lugs that come off the newer trucks are metric so you need to get ones that fit SAE and have the outside treads so you can use the caps. I have a site on ebay I found ( I think) that can sell them if you need them-I could not find them anywhere else-maybe someone else has a source-good luck....steve

Re: 2500 rims

Ya, they work great. Not sure about back spacing on a 2wd but I had the original split rims that came on my 4wd truck and there was no more than 1/4" difference.

as for lug nuts, I got mine here- http://www.wheelcomponents.com/lugnuts.html
a little ways down the page, item 2004- open end dual thread acorn

Re: 2500 rims

1-2many,
Those wheels will fit with no problems. If you have the original style lug nuts, I would suggest to replace with new conversion lug nuts. The old ones (lug nuts) are flat on the wheel side and they dig into the bevel of the lug nut openings. Lugnutking is where I got mine from ebay. I think i paid $35 a set. Then you can mount the hub caps if you have them. If you go to the swap meets he gets around. He also sells spacers and all kinds of stuff.
