Central Arkansas Get-Together?

I'm seeing new folks in the Central Arkansas area, and would like to see us plan a get acquainted event. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on when and where, let's see what you got.

Re: Central Arkansas Get-Together?

Was in Little Rock Thursday for a continuing-education class as a real estate appraiser.

God what a long drive from Mtn Home. Love to come, but doubtful, for me.

Re: Central Arkansas Get-Together?

Mountain Home is a long drive. It's a pretty drive, but it is long.

As for where, I thought we should see who all responds. I know a couple guys in Bryant and I haven't talked to them. There's another in NLR, but I know we have more than just us. One member put on the Motorcycle Mania show last Saturday at Clear Channels' facility. I don't see a show in our future at this time, but it could happen one day.

Even if it is nothing but meeting up at some drive-to location for burgers and drinks, it would be a chance.

There's a place called Home Run Diner in Bryant. They have a free jukebox playing CD's with a decor that is best described as friendly to the car culture. Checkboard tile and stuff on the wall. Food is good and the only serve breakfast on Saturday, but it's a good feast.

I'm open to any Saturday morning for breakfast for starters. We could then form up at other places in the future.

Okay, it's the Home Plate Diner. It's just a suggestion, though. Gotta be others.

Re: Central Arkansas Get-Together?

I would like to join in. I think doing it real quick would knock a few people out of coming like my self due to a very screwed up work schedule.I always need a little notice to attend things like this and then its no guarantee .I do agree with keeping it simple.Keep us all posted what ideas ya'll come up with.
