WIW- 2000 4.8 complete, Good 4L60E ?

I haven't dealt in anything this late model before. I know you 67-72 are up on these late model swaps though. These engines are prolly much more available down south then they are around here, but usually higher mileage.
ANYWAY i have a COMPLETE, good running 4.8 out of a 2000 with 76K miles. It does NOT have the death rattle at all. I am willing to give up the harness & computer so give some ideas of worth with & without the wiring/ECM.

also a good 4L60E
plan on leaving engine in so it can be heard runing too.

thanx , crossy

I would call local salvage or pick-n-pull and ask how much they would charge for a similar setup

Re: WIW- 2000 4.8 complete, Good 4L60E ?

Chuck thanks, but one thing i have found for sure selling older truck parts is that no private seller should ever expect to get anywhere near what a salavage yard does for something high dollar. I guess i could then just cut it in half. LOL
I bet the $450 would be half. I saw a 99-06 8' bed like mine for $1450!!!!!!
I think the tranny will bring decent money just because of demand. thanx , crossy
