Re: What do you think of this trade?

You'll get 99.9% of the ppl on here (myself included) saying do it.
Go to a 89 Isuzu Trooper message board and they'll talk trash to you and say you're an idiot for considering it.
I would say, you'd be trading up. Even if you were to just trade it and sell it, you'd probably get more $$ out of the GMC than the isusu

Re: What do you think of this trade?

MESA,
Personally, a 4x4 k-20 GMC for an Isuzu trooper of any year is a great trade !
That guy must need the extra seating area of your Isuzu, or he's just not a real truck guy. DO IT !!!!!!!

This is really a NO Brainer! But I agree, what are your needs. Do you need a flat bed truck? Do you need seating for 5?

If it's just about vehicles - your the winner for the truck. That Isuzu will be in the Junk yard in 5 years and you'll be hauling hay, pulling a trailer, go to where ever you wnat with the GMC!

Just my $.03

Re: What do you think of this trade?

One of my friends in high school had a Trooper like this and we had a fun ass time beating the heck out of it, but in now way would those childhood memories keep me from making the trade.

Dude probably just needs a driver that is decent on gas.

I say DO IT!!! No brainer.

Re: What do you think of this trade?

I'd say it is a pretty even up trade dollar wise if the truck is in the same condition as the Trooper.
The truck has a lot of possibilities. You should be able to unbolt the flatbed and sell it or make a trailer out of it and bolt on a nice fleetside bed. White shouldn't be a problem to match at least for the time being.

Re: What do you think of this trade?

Hey less of the "Gay looking" comments, my daily driver is a 98 Isuzu Trooper and before that I had one the same shape as that one only a 91. I'd still say its a good swap though especially as you guys didn't get the best engines (2.8 Turbo Diesel) in your Troopers..

Re: What do you think of this trade?

I would probably trade if I didn't need the Isuzu. If you only have one vehicle though and do a lot of driving to work and such, the Isuzu would get better gas mileage....

But agian, if you don't need the Isuzu, I think the worth of the GMC is higher than the Isuzu, so trade it in that situation
