Re: new coolest part of my truck

you guys know it. the morning of the car show I thought hey if I take my glove door I bet those guys would autograph it. so I went out to my truck and started pulling out the screws. 2 were pretty much not taken any of my guff so I started freaking thinking crap I'm gonna have to grind em off. then I remembered I had one of those impact drivers you smack with a hammer. one came out after 3-4 smacks and the other one I'll finish taking out the second piece another time lol. as you can see I got the door off. both these guys were awesome. meeting the George Barris...words can't describe, and all I said to Chip was its the glovey door off my 66 gmc and in about as long as it took me to say it he drew the little 66 pic. my girl was the one with the presence of mind to snap those guys signing the door. way past a keeper. you bet this is getting clear coated, although I did buy a paint marker for the signatures. between this incredible score and finding this site I know this build is going to be one of my best experiences......ever. thanks to all you gm truck fans for your great responses.
