A/C controls
The top lever for my A/C controls is broken. Has anyone replaced just the levers? The rest of the unit is in pretty good condition and I know I can buy the levers seperately but I'm not sure how much trouble it is.

If you have the control out where you can get at it then it is not too bad of a job. I use a pair of needle nose pliers behind the knob as something to hit against to remove the knob as they are pressed on.
Otherwise it is pretty straight forward to replace the lever. Jim

I did a complete rebuild on one here:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=245558 I obviously went way farther than you'll need to. I took the face off and everything. One thing you will have to do (which I show) is that once you pop the small plate the holds the arms on (the metal is "riveted" around the plate) you'll have to figure out a way to put it back on. I carefully drilled holes and used screws. Other than that, it should be fairly simple.
