F/S Step side bed NO RUST!

Very clean 72 step side bed. It has no rust that I can find. The tailgate has some rust, but comes with another rust free gate. There is no wood in it. The metal plate is just sitting in there, its not welded in or bolted. The insides are strait. It has the original paint, but there is some spray paint where the PO tried to make it look better!!! Not too sure what to ask, so im going to say $750.00 obo. NO SHIPPING.

Not only is it completely rude to continue to post about parts not offered.....it IS against the previously mentioned rules.
I let you get by with a simple "edit" the first time because of your "newbie" status. You did have to agree to the rules when you signed up....as does everyone. There is nothing, other than your word, to say that you actually did though.

BUT, when you get a warning from a moderator/staffer, it is in your best interest to make sure that you do.

XII. It is against our policy for someone to post a complaint about a members price on whatever they are selling. If you don't like the price then skip it. Let it drop to the bottom on its own. They (potential buyers) will figure it out, why nobody is jumping on that particular item.
XIII. If you are a long time member, act like one. Lead by example and assist other newer members rather then attacking them. We look upon our veteran members to use this opportunity to teach the newer members the appropriate message board usage.

I've seen this bed. It will be worth the drive. There are other stepsides on the board and ebay just like it in the $2000 to $2500 range.

Mine (you can search for it using my board name), but my price reflects:

1. Its in the Northeast, where they are virtually non-existant
2. Includes what was an NOS tailgate (before paint)
3. Includes Bruce Horkey ash wood and stainless strips/hardware
4. Has extra new take of fender that goes with it
5. Requires virtually no work to prep and paint as it as on a restored truck that got smashed by a tree.

Joe's bed is definately worth what he's asking, mine was that bed plus the work and extras to make it "show" quality. If I needed it and could pick it up I'd buy it no questions.
