carb help
my truck sat up for about a year then I tore it down and rebuilt my engine now my edelbrock 1405 is flooding it out it seems to be pumping way to much fuel could this be from the fact that it sat only being started once and a while.

Thats what I figured I went ahead and orderd a rebuild kit. I think after sitting with the new alcohol gas in it it is probably gumed up. thanks

They dont mind it to much if you up the metering rods a bit. But gas sitting in any carb is not good for it. Holley's a fanatical about it. If you let a holley sit for any mount of time after its had gas in it it generally leaks everywhere and runs like crap.
