Rims
What is the widest tires and rims yall are running without narrowing rearends. rims and tire specs would be helpfull. i have a 1970 stepside im looking to fit a nice size wheel in the rear.

I run 275/60/15s on 10 inch rims and they clear everything nicely. Don't know about the low profile tires on larger rims. Cnut

I have 17x10 rims with 275/55-17 tires and they are tight. But , that is on a fleetside. For a stepper, I'm not sure if you have more or less room.

i have 8 inch wheels with 295-50-15 tires on my stepside tires measure 12.5 inches and arent too tall

I am curious about this aswell. I c-notched the frame and now my 15" rims hit the fender wells. I believe they are 15x10. I had 275's on the rear and 225's on the front and even the 255's hit. It looks like I got about an inch between the box and rim. I am wanting to put 20's on it now and would like to go as wide as possible, but don't know what back spacing would work..
Anybody with a step side and 20's could you post pics please..

i have 16x10 on 295/50/16... they tuck nicely but i dont think you can go wider though?
