Yeah the 5 gallons of mud cancels things out. Does that thing still have the whitewalls on it?

Old custom classic trucks have soul. Their dashboards aren't plastic, and they've survived both the best and worst of what the 20th century had to offer. For the owners of these trucks, it's often the same story. Through both good and bad times they persevered, until one day they could turn the key and roll up in a customized truck everyone with good taste would admire.Custom Classic Trucks

Yeah...guess it is an a$$ dragger....That picture was when I walked in...they had like 15-20 bags of concrete mix in it. When I came out, it had a S#it load of 2x6, ply and 4x4 posts on top of it all....Poor thing, he had to ride the fricken clutch to get her moving !!

Re: Put 'em to work pics !!!

i enjoy some whiskey from time to time but never before body work. that's actually the scale I use to see how straight panels are. if it looks straight before I drink then it's ready to paint. if it looks straight after one cocktail then I hit it with some primer surfacer and block again. if it looks straight after two drinks then I hit it with skim coat and block again. if it looks straight after three drinks I hit it with a heavy dose of filler and block again. if it takes four drinks for the panel to look straight then I sand to bare metal and get out the hammer, dollies and stud gun.

That's just my scale.... use it at your own risk.

Re: Put 'em to work pics !!!

The black truck is from 1981. I used this 1965 Chevy C10 lwb fleetside for my lawn mowing business when I was in high school.

The white truck is used for sales calls for my buddy's cabinet business.

The blue truck with the flatbed has been retired from working with me and has since moved on to another owner and his son for their lawn moving business.

The red/white C20 is used for tailgate parties at Chief's games, so that isn't tecnically work, but she sure does a good job of hauling all my goods.

Hey,

Do these count as put 'em to work pics? Any one else have any pictures of your 60-66 getting a work out, hauling loads or pulling trailers?
