Question SWB Stepside Fenders

Can someone tell me if anyone makes stepside fenders for these trucks? Or maybe does anyone have a drivers side fender without the spare tire notch they would like to get rid of cheap?

Thanks

Aftermarket stepside fenders are only made of fiberglass, nobody makes'em from steel, at least not yet, you can get used ones in good condition anywhere around 100 bucks and up

try the parts board. If somebody has one, there is the place, just start a WTB fender thread.

I think goodmark will, but not 'till later next year, but price for them won't be cheap, we're better off getting ol' original ones, which will always fit

Stepfender

I had a hard time finding a fender, but my brother in law found one in Modesto, Ca. The guy wanted my old one plus $200.00. It hurt but it was in perfect shape. They only make fiberglass ones new, but a company in Orange, Ca should have them soon this year. I would wait for the new ones if you can. I looked all over Arizona and there was nothing.

Take care, Cole

I got lucky!!

I needed a new fender for my bed, driver's side I think. The one I had was creased up and had a huge rip down it. It would've taken a long time to fix. Anyways, I found a guy in Guthrie, oklahoma that wanted to get rid of a few fenders. all I needed was the one, and we ended up paying the guy 20 bucks for an original fender! I couldn't believe it! it only had 1 rust spot! it was actually easier to fix than the original one! Now I've got a fuel door in the back of it since I got the blazer tank..
All I'd be able to tell you is check the little "freebie" classified papers like you can get at restraunts and hotels. that's where i found my bed and fenders. 20 bucks for the fenders, 100 bucks for a complete bed. I made my money back just selling the tailgate (it was a gmc bed). I think we sold the gmc stepside tailgate for around 150 bucks. not a bad deal if ya ask me...

RILEY,

You stole yours man.. Cool find.

MUCKYP,

Around here "IF" (I kept my eyes open for 5 years) you can find a stepside drivers side w/o cutout it'll run you $300.00 to $500.00 depending on condition. I got mine from TXGARY (here on this board) It was drivers w/o cutout, No dents or even dings and no rust, I paid $150.00 + crating/shipping and I really thought that was a find. You might want to check him out, he parts these things to help afford his.

If I can find a short wide box I'll part with both of mine.

Here is the number for the truck shop. In the catalogue it said coming soon, stepside fenders. 1-800-chevy-47 (243-8947).
Hope this helps.

Take care, Cole
