Sure Pull Receiver Hitch?

I have a line on a brand new receiver hitch that someone bought for a truck but never installed. I took a look at it today and it's in prefect condition - but I can't tell if it will work for my truck. The only info I was able to pull off of it was Sure Pull (Pro Truk series) with a part number of 37335.

It seems the company has gone out of business... Does anyone have any info on whether or not this would fit our year trucks? It was originally supposed to go on a mid 70's Chevy Truck, so I'm hopeful...

Re: Sure Pull Receiver Hitch?

it would be helpful with a pic but the gere is from 73 up so mid seventies seems to fit... it has to be a pickup tho as there is differences in the chassis for a burb and blazer and truck

Re: Sure Pull Receiver Hitch?

Yeah, I know, the info is a little dodgy but I didn't have a camera at the time and the guy doesn't know the year of truck it was supposed to go on. Apparently the truck and hitch were a purchase to tow a trailer, but the truck engine wasn't strong enough to pull a 24 foot Airstream, so it got sold. The hitch landed in the back of the Airstream and was only found on clean out.

The hitch is a straight bar, 2" square tube with two bolt holes on L brackets. The tag said 10,000#/5000# towing capacity, witch makes me think it is a class III or IV hitch.

Re: Sure Pull Receiver Hitch?

That would be great, but the link is dead and the phone number disconnected.

Anyone have any experience with Sure Pull?

I had one for our 95 that ended up being for an ext cab/LWB (ours is a reg cab SWB) so it didn't fit, but from the searching I did, Surepull is out of business and was bought out by hidden hitch. Couldn't find that part number anywhere there. You might contact hidden hitch and see what they say.
