New member: my work in progress/pics
Greetings, Great site!
New member here, I have been lurking for a while, this site has helped me with progress on my project many times, thanks! Here are a few shots of my '69 CST-10, she's almost done! Interior/exterior are complete. Mostly original except for a few personal touches. Mirrors changed (sporty but unusable), 15" ralley wheels w/Firestone Firehawk tires, drop coil springs, dual exhaust, B&M shift kit, front disk brakes, billet grill, hid headlights, tonneau cover, "blue dot" tail lenses (illegal as hell where I live!) and a couple of "blackouts" (tailgate trim and hood emblem). Engine bay is getting a little TLC currently (I know, a bit out of order on the restoration, long story). The engines out and I'm prepping for paint, engine bay, block, etc. The usual "stuff" will be going back in, motor mounts, hugger headers, ignition, intake, carb, etc. Hope you like what I thought a '67-'72 Chevy P/U should look like, I'll post pics of progress. Thanks again! Lindsey- |

Re: New member: my work in progress/pics
Thanks for the warm welcome.
Being "non-running", it's garaged (pretty tight) and mostly covered up and I can't get any good pics of the interior. Here's a couple old crappy snaps, it gives an idea but color is off somewhat, post new soon. Lindsey- |

Re: New member: my work in progress/pics
So you from CA or NJ? Your avatar say CA and your truck has NJ plates....not that I care one way or another...just happen to notice the difference. By the way very nice looking truck.

Re: New member: my work in progress/pics
Thanks.
Me: Originally from Northern NJ, out in Northern CA now. Too damn cold back there. Truck: Originally from North Carolina, then NJ, now CA. (where it belongs). I recently had it shipped out west by enclosed trailer, was more than a bit nervous but it arrived unscathed. This is current state as of Monday, notice block's pretty ratty looking. This area needed a good "going through" both mechanically and paint. Hopefully be down about a month. Lindsey- |
