Smile 73gmc- starter ?

The solenoid on the starter was bad. Bought a reman starter. My ? is how many wires are supposed to be where the pos cable is connected? Found the pos cable + 2 wires connected to one lug. One end of the wires goes to the fuse junction on the firewall. The other goes to a junction on the firewall. It seems this end might be a ground. Replaced all the starter wires with THHN
wire.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanx

Re: 73gmc- starter ?

Everything with big hole connector should go on the main positive lug, and there should only be one with a small hole, (trigger) unless it's a standard shift, then it could have one for the safety switch.(ground)
