chroming

Was just wondering if anyone has gotten parts re-chromed. Is it expensive? Just better to buy new? If you have done it how did you find a place?

Re: chroming

chrome plating is very expensive due to intensive labor costs and govt regs
example you can buy a repop bumper for around $100 if you get a great deal or you can spend $300 to have an original bumper rechromed

finding a quality place is a matter of word of mouth researsh ,inspecting some current work from the shop and talking touring the facility that the work is being done at //ask guys at car shows with top of the line customs for places they use
