FS '68 Big mirrors, nice

I have a nice set (left & right) of towing (big) mirrors that my daughter and I removed from a ’68 Chevrolet C-10. I have several of these trucks and need to start getting rid of parts I don’t plan to use. I’d prefer to sell these to someone on this forum over placing them on eBay or Craig’s list. All the hardware is in the bag the mirrors are not cracked and the support tubes have no damage. The nuts and bolts have surface rust as do the metal parts of the mirrors. Asking $60.00, as you know everything is negotiable! I am in Havelock, NC. 28532 shipping is on you but, I'll make sure these are packed well and shipped the next day except Sunday.

I am very interested in these for my dually. Would you be willing to ship by USPS across the border?

Be glad to ship 'em to you at your expense, send me your postal code(?) and I'll check shipping this afternoon. Is USPS the only way to ship?

Shipping to our neighbor to the north might prove to be cost prohibitive; if that falls through the mirrors are yours. I’ll get a shipping quote for you as well.

Does anyone have any pictures of this style mirror on their truck? I really like them but am wondering how they would look.

Re: FS '68 Big mirrors, nice

My postal code is K0M 1N0 in Fenelon Falls, ON. USPS is the least expensive for duty and charges. If it is marked as antique car parts with a declared value of under $100.00 it is really reasonable. I have been looking for a set of these for my truck for a while since when I get the house trailer on behind it makes changing lanes tricky, even with the trailer towing mirrors that I bought to slip on.

Re: FS '68 Big mirrors, nice

My friend called me a fool for selling these, I just have too much stuff I'm not going to use and I want these to go to someone who will use 'em. I'll get that shipping cost and let you know in a few hours.

James,

At the post office, $42.15 for priority mail (too big for first class, sorry they are packed well) six to ten days to you, insured for 80 bucks. The total damage will be $102.15 and a picture of your truck! Are we on?

Re: FS '68 Big mirrors, nice

We are on, how would you prefer payment, US money order mailed to you or through Pay Pal?

As for the picture of the truck this is all that I have here at the office.

I’d prefer a money order by mail to avoid Pay Pal charges. Please send the funds to me at.

Anyone have any idea what the color code is for the orange on this truck pictured? I’d like to get a ½ qt and do a test. Not sure I've seen one on the road this color.

Thanks, the '60 Ford was sold last year as it was my friends and he passed away. It left Ontario in September and is now in Rochester NY.

James, I'm going to get these out to you today, I was turned away with the "Customs Declartion" I took them yesterday. I should have it good today. Not "just that easy"! But do-able.
