any body with a 327/350?

does your engine make noises, if so what does it make (besides the normal rumble of exhaust)

It shouldn't make any extra noise unless something's a little out of whack like a ticking lifter or a chattering or squealing belt. What's your's doing?

lots of times you'll get a tick from the dust shiels hitting the flexplate

well, it has a small tick in the valve, thats all, i think, just wondering

yeah ive got the same ticking noise in my truck too. if you can hear it over the twin Flowmasters!

ticking, whine from cam gear, then knock, then the crank came out in 3 pieces, thats normal right?

See if the ticking comes from the timing cover.A stretched/worn timing chain & gears will slap the cover,prior to jumping teeth and macking-out your valvetrain.Rev it up and see if it ticks louder when it backs off.that is when it will slack.It will tick when idling.
The fact that it`s a 327 has no bearing on the problem whatsoever.All SBCs are the same design.

its all brand new so its not that, its increadibly quiet, so im not worrying about it.
