Dash pad ideas - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I remember reading a while back about a dash pad idea. There would be 3 gauges mounted in a molded plastic dashpad.

Anyone ever seen this done or know where to buy one? I think its a cool concept that would help alot of the performance guys there there.

I believe there was a pic of it and the gauges mounted dead center and angled towards the driver (Looked something like a 240Z Datsun)

I think that was in a classic trucks mag awhile back i think you could go to thier web site and look threw the back issues...I have the article i think, and i will try to look for it to help ya out

I found it it was right on top may 2002 was the issue has a flammmed 55 ford pick-up ''classic trucks'' and a small pic of a white and yellow 72 on cover..Its made by just dashes and they used autometer guages.....www.justdashes.com HOPE THIS HELPS YA OUT

That dash costs about $375 I think but I don't believe it's in production yet. I am planning on designing that same type of dash out of fiberglass, just haven't had the time lately.
