a chisel and a big hammer will work. just chisle the heads off the rivets.

i grinder and cutoff whell will work to if you have that. i would cut the heads off on the braket side not the frame side to avoid cutting into the frame

it looks awsome man. those dumbo ears just don't look right on there anymore

Man, what a difference a little drop will make in a truck. Looks great.

I agree on the mirrors, got to go. I've got the small ones Brandon gave me that I plan on installing when/if I get it painted. Can't take them off until then though, there will be holes left behind.

Great job and once again, it looks fabulous.

i'm going to get it aligned tommorow. when we were driving it, the trucks steering felt a little sloppy, but it didnt really pull until i hit the brakes, then it would pull really noticably to the left.

OK, you are right, still looks sweet though.

I think very few two-tone trucks look good...gotta have the right two colors and Eric's truck does.

Looks real good Eric. I agree time for the mirrors to go. The ones I sent Mike were factorys but you can get repros from LMC or Chevy Duty.

thats one nice muddy brown truck in the back ground...
didnt have any mishaps this time.. no sawzall coming at me or exhaust falling on someones head... almost had an axle fall on my head though..... the leaf springs had some power behind them too, but didnt come close to decapitating either of us...

That looks great but it looks more like a 5/5 drop or more. What are you running for tires, wheels and offsets. We just did the 5/5 and are rubbing on the front. with Krager 15 inch x 8 inch wheel with about 3.5 inch back spacing and a 60 series 245 wide tire. I guess maybe more back spacing and a 50 series might help the problem.

Nice truck!

If I'm not mistaken, Eric is running 275X60X15 tires all around and most probably why it looks like a 5/5 drop. Nice job! Eric!

Nice job. What is your tire size? If you're using 275/60" and I plan on doing the same drop with 255/60's, man my truck is going to be low. The front end will about the current hight but the rear will be dropped about 1" more inch than the current stance.
