It might have been a fleet vehicle.

Re: Have you ever seen these stickers

Could be. I don't know. Have you seen any like these installed at dealerships?
The one is dated right to be of that vintage.

Re: Have you ever seen these stickers

Not necessarily from the dealer but I've seen similar stickers on fleet vehicles. The company generally puts them on after they get the vehicle from the dealer. Other than that I don't know.

Re: Have you ever seen these stickers

You could try a carfax report and see if it was originally a fleet vehicle.

Re: Have you ever seen these stickers

Not a fleet pickup from what I was told. The old boy that bought it new passed away, and his son sold it to me. I got the original title. I didn't ask to many questions.

I never seen any dealers install those before. My opinion is the owner installed them.

Those stickers really ruin that truck, so I will take it off your hands.

It almost resembles something the government or the military would do.

Re: Have you ever seen these stickers

that looks straight up fleet/gov markings. The old man who owned it may have just been funny like that, but they are not original at all.
Car Fax wouldn't help on this. You plug in the VOIN off these trucks and they'll say it is incomplete.

ATTENTION DRIVER
Check Wheel lugs before moving vehicle

That sounds like Military "dummy proofing" a vehicle to make it safe. I agree with it possibly being a government or fleet vehicle or maybe a retired military man ?

Re: Have you ever seen these stickers

I would guess Military vehicle since its one of thoose "No Brainer" Stickers. Check lug nuts, Check! Check oil, Check! Check tire pressure, Check!

Most the vehicles we use are like that. Stickers for everything. The only thing that would make me think its a fleet vehicle instead of a Mil is the Tire pressure is not written above the tires on the fenders. That is almost a sure fire bet that its a Military vehicle.

He may have taken it to a dmv check point and had them test it. If it has the smog stuff on the motor and passed he could have been a green person and just thought he was doing the right thing.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
