It can now stand on all 4
FINALLY after months and months of the front of my truck sitting on blocks, its back to keeping itself up. Just got my new wheels and tires mounted and installed. This after swapping out the 3/4 ton axle for a 1/2 ton, installing a power steering kit and a 5 lug disc brake kit. Then I decided to work on swapping from a 4bbl carb to a Throttle body injection system for the 235. What should have only took me a few weeks came out to a few months because of work (fulltime 40 hrs a week) and evening college classes. Summer break is here so I have 3 months to get further along, and hopefully get just that much closer to getting my truck on the road.
Some pictures! http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0959.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0957.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0956.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0955.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0911.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0962.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0960.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/100_0961.jpg Wheels are American Racing AR-23 aluminum 15" 5 spoke, fronts are 15x7 with Mastercraft Avenger GT 235/60R15 tires, rears are 15X8 with Mastercracft Avenger GT 245/60R15 tires. So far Im liking the stance/ride height. I have one item that I will need to change and that is the CPP steering arm on the front axle, I need to flip it upside down so that the ball joint is toward the ground. Next step is to run all the brake lines from the master cylinder to the front calipers and rear drums. I wanted to wait until the truck was off of the blocks before I crawled underneath it.

These are those special moments when you pull up a lawn chair in the garage, crack open a cold one and just sit there and look at them.
Sweeeet... They look awesome.
