Tach question

I was just wondering if a factory tach was avalible from 82-87. I have only seen tach's in 81 and older trucks. I have found 4 tach clusters of the 80's style gauges and they were all in 1981 trucks.

Re: Tach question

I have been told that the 81 or 82 was the last year for the tach to be availibile. I got an old cluster with one and had it gone through and plan to put it in my 85. I have my interior pulled and I'm putting the sound system in now. It should work just fine there are other guys here that have done it.

Re: Tach question

The tach was available in 1987.

I am the original owner of my truck (I ordered it) and it has the tach in it.
