my crate motor came today

Before anyone says a thing to me, I did not take my camera to work today! ok! been working hard, and ordered a 330 hp crate engine. I will be starting a thread ( if someone helps me ) about the R&R. Here is my plan:
CRATE ENGINE on the engine stand
SERP BELT SETUP on the shelf
12" COOLING FANS soon
CLASSIC AUTO AIR will pull the factory a/c and sell as a complete unit ( bad compressor and a leak somewhere, would not hold a vacuum )
I have the engine, serp belt setup I bought from a board member, will be calling Classic heartbeat for the fan shroud, SPAL fans, and controller, I have a powdercoater 2 miles from my shop, who KNOWS ME, this is my summer project. I have an air conditioned play room at home, and will do the basics at my shop and do the detail at the house. EXCITED

Good reason for excitement!

IMO, one of the best upgrades out there is adding a serp belt assembly, good choice.

Re: my crate motor came today

Is that going in the truck I wanted to buy or the new blazer. BTW I don't remember if I told you or not, I went to interview with George Mayfield, but he did not have anything for me. I did sell my blazer and take a job in Tampa. I have been working for about three months now. Good luck with the build. By the time you are done I may have the money saved up.

Re: my crate motor came today

AJ I will go to my shop tomorrow, and take a picture of my crate motor in a bag on my engine stand. OK, and then take a picture of my stash shelf, which has my serpintine belt set up, and my flywheel, and my balancer. the valve covers ( I gave the chrome ones away today ) and the other stuff will be here next week, and will AGAIN send a pic or two!! ha ha
Will also take pic of a 57 tbird that I have done a ton of work to in the last month. engine/trans r&r, rewired, A/C installed etc.
