ez wiring?
have any oh you used the ez wiring kits on hour trucks?
i cant stand wiring ,, and i want sumthin im not gona go insane trying to install any feedback would be great |

Ive uesd them on hot rod builds. The last was on a 240z with a small block. only complaint was that the harness was set up to be on the driverside front and we wanted it in the rear of the car

Just keepin it simple.  1965 C-10 Ext cab build. 350??(Does it count at 2 truck if I had to cut one up?) 1966 C-10 lwb 283 auto 1970 Suburban in pieces 1971 Blazer 4wd....restore someday. all factory CST 1972 Blazer 4wd parts truck still a roller 1972 GMC Sierra Grandee 1998 Chevy ext driver. 2005 F**D the wife drive...(cant fix women) |

They are a great company, when I lost everythign to Katrina, they sent me replacements at NO CHARGE. SEAN is a great guy to work with.

Rebel wiring is really good too.
They are a small company. Very nice quality hand built harness with good instructions. Wires are labled every 6 inches also. The price is great too. When you call the tech line you talk to the actual guy who built the harness. People on the HAMB rave about Rebel wiring http://www.rebel-wire.com/ I orderd there 9+3 kit and gauge harness

I just finished insttalling an ez wiring kit into 62 chevy, the only part that you actually had to sit and scratch your head about is the headlight switch (try to go with a newr light switch if you can like a 66 to 72) and if your hooking up the original guages, youll be having to splice into the original harness for the dash lights etc. The ammeter will require you route your own wires to the alt and I think the battery. And thats about it, routing is a pain but thats with all wiring harnesses I would think

very simple to install and it works great i have no complaints
just be sure all of you lights are getting a good ground i messed with mine for hours trying to figure why the taillights wouldnt work when i was pulling the light out it came so i knew it was a ground i think i have the 12 circut i paid 165 for it

Them only thing I will add to make my truck slightly different are new headlights and Better Relays. The lights will be brighter. Here are several links to the information.

I have an EZ that I got off of Ebay. I have yet to put it in. I feel it will be happening soon though.

Maybe better quality, i don't know. The ez kit does what I need it to do, its better than the old wiring that was in my truck!

my kit came with the alternator harness, alternator bypass kit, some crimp on connectors, wire ties and headlight harness connectors and a few other things I believe, but I cant think of any at the moment, you ll need to buy your own wire loom, electrical tape, solder and shrink tubing, oh it came with a fusable link also

I bought a painless harness, only because I haven't heard of the other companys out. I didn't research it much either. But I have to say that the harness is really well put together. It was for the 60-66 truck. I haven't had any problems with it. But you are going to pay for the name of it. I have heard a lot of good things about EZ and Rebel since I've got more into my truck. I would have probably gone with a diffrent company if I really researched it first. just my 2cents
