What are these?

The first one looks like some sort of holder/bracket and it kinda broke off, what is/was it and do I need it anymore?

What is the second one called and what is it used for (the bar thats angled across the rearend)?

Re: What are these?

First pic is the original exhaust hanger.

Second pic is called a panhard bar or track bar (depending on who you are talking to, same thing).

Re: What are these?

1st is a exhaust hanger, cut it off if you want.

2nd is the panhard bar, or tracking bar. You need that...

Re: What are these?

The bar in pic to is commonly referred to as a tracking bar, panhard bar.

It keeps your rearend centered. And also keeps your truck stable while driving.

If you didn't have it your truck would be all over the road.

Re: What are these?

That`s an old exhaust hanger someonf mounted outside the frame, not original.

The panhard bar provides lateral stability to coil springs. You just want up and down, not side to side.
